Bindings

Description

Bindings are used to group one or more operations in specific communication protocol and message data format. Also, one service can have more bindings and in each of them you can define how the service and its operations are used.

Creation

For creating a binding To add a SOAP Binding for your web service provider:

1. Open your service Client.

2. Click on the plus sign next to 'Binding' to add a new Binding.

   

3. Expand the dropdown, select the relevant binding and click [OK]

   

Binding types

Orchestra defines three binding types that are explained in separate chapters:

• SoapBinding call an external SOAP service

• Orchestra Binding call a service provided by another Orchestra scenario

• Java Binding

If in an imported WSDL there is no information about the exchange pattern, it will be displayed as NotSupportedBinding.
